I first would like to thank Mr. Brown in taking time out of his busy day to speak with me. He has been in this industry for a long time whether it was coaching baseball, helping out the athletic department, or teaching his class he takes pride in watching each individual grow and move on to other institutions to finish their degree. What he has accomplished and experience in his lifetime in the sports industry is one that anyone would be proud of. The position he holds at Mott Community College is exactly what I'd like to do someday; for me to be able to pick his brain a little on what I need to do to get where he has gotten was a great experience.

I will be starting my career out much like his, beginning my career as a coach is the easiest way to get into what I want to do. Tips for Students Aspiring Towards a Similar Position:

This industry is one that awards persistence, in his experience it took him quite a while to get where he wanted to be. “It’s all about the students and doing what’s best for them”, that’s where he gets his drive and motivation he said.
